With over 200 million internet users in Indonesia, the world’s largest archipelago is facing rampant cyber-attacks. The rampage orchestrated by the attackers is yielding more than 400 million cyber-attacks in a year.

In the wake of the above development, the regulatory bodies in the country – National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim), and Financial Services Authority (OJK) have maximized their operations in order to mitigate the situation. Even the majority of the Indonesian organizations have started to allocate a substantial amount of their IT budget in strengthening cybersecurity, so much so that the Indonesian cybersecurity market is estimated to reach a staggering $750.5 million mark by 2022.
