IEAE ROADSHOW DAY 3 DONGGUAN, A Global Powerhouse for Diverse Electronics Industries
On January 8, 2025, the China-Indonesia Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Industry Exchange Conference was held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. Guangdong Province is renowned as a hub for manufacturing and innovation across various sectors, including electronics, technology, home appliances, and the automotive industry.
Many international brands rely on Dongguan's factories for high-quality components and assembly services. Additionally, Dongguan is also known for its advancements in gaming appliances such as headset, mouse, keyboard, and electronic accessories. When IEAE Indonesia visited Dongguan, the team gained valuable insights into how the city has established itself as a global leader in electronics manufacturing.
In the exchange meeting, Mr. Jonathan Hendrata, General Manager of Chaoyu Exhibition Co., Ltd. Indonesia branch; Ms. Dewi - IEAE, Business Development Lead of IEAE Indonesia; and Mr. Chris, Senior Project Director IEAE, shared strategies for identifying international business opportunities in Indonesia's consumer electronics market. Under the theme "How to Do Business in Indonesia: Collaboration with Buyers and Distribution Strategies," they introduced practical steps for companies to integrate into and develop the local Indonesian market more effectively and efficiently.
Mr. Fanky Christian, Secretary General of Asosiasi Pengusaha TIK Nasional, focusing on the topic "Grow Your Market in Indonesia." After hearing from the association’s perspective, the floor was given to entrepreneurs, with Mr. Alex (Sutono), General Manager of PT BOLDE MAKMUR INDONESIA, provided valuable insights into the growth of Indonesia's consumer electronics market.
